Rose Pendant in Apple Wood

A flower carved to last beyond the seasons

The rose has long been a symbol of beauty, affection, and quiet strength. Across cultures and generations, it has represented love in its many forms, not only romantic, but also the appreciation of life, nature, and meaningful connections.

This pendant is my interpretation of a blooming rose, carved with gently opening petals and delicate leaves. Rather than simplifying the flower into a symbol, I wanted to preserve its natural elegance, shaping each petal individually so the carving feels as light and lifelike as possible.

Every curve was refined by hand using traditional carving tools, allowing the petals to develop their own softness and depth. The goal was not simply to carve a flower, but to capture the feeling of holding a real rose in wood.

Carved from apple wood, appreciated for its warm reddish-brown tones and subtle natural variations, each pendant carries its own unique character. The wood itself enhances the organic beauty of the flower, making every piece slightly different.
