Tiki masks have been carved for centuries across Polynesian cultures as symbols of protection, strength, and the enduring connection between people, nature, and their ancestors. More than decorative objects, they were believed to watch over those who carried them, offering guidance, courage, and spiritual protection.

This pendant is inspired by that timeless tradition. Rather than reproducing a specific historical artifact, it is my own interpretation of the Tiki spirit, balancing expressive features with handcrafted detail while preserving the symbolic essence that has made these figures so enduring.

Every line is carved slowly by hand using traditional tools, allowing the natural grain of the wood to become part of the design. Each piece develops its own personality through the carving process, making every pendant unique.

This version is hand-carved from plum wood, appreciated for its warm reddish tones and fine texture. Its natural character complements the expressive features of the Tiki mask, giving each pendant warmth and individuality.
